  • Association of 16mm Narrow Gauge Modellers If you have any interest in 16mm garden railways, then this UK based association is thoroughly worth joining. The association produces a very informative quarterly magazine and organises regular exhibitions which the majority of 16mm suppliers attend.

  • Jon Potter Engineering is a new company making some interesting wagon and rolling stock kits, including a conversion kit for an I.P.Engineering coach to make a railcar based on my design for a remote controlled railcar and coach. Jon also has a nice web site for his own Woodrow Light Railway.

  • TurboCAD is a very easy to use drawing program. The latest version, TurboCAD 9 standard, can be downloaded for US$99 from the web site - beware though as it is over 50MB! It is also available in the UK as a boxed version with a very comprehensive printed manual at around the same price (or less) from Amazon.co.uk.
  • Paving expert is an excellent website put together by Tony McCormack which provides a hugh amount of advice and information on laying concrete, walls, paving etc. which I found invaluable and would thoroughly recommend to anyone contemplating such works.
