"Christina" - Roundhouse Millie 0-4-0"Christina" is an early Roundhouse Millie. She is gas fired with a pot boiler and slip eccentic vale gear. She has a Bywater brass dome, and was lined by Lightline. She is an excellent performer and will steam freely for at least 45 minutes per fill, pulling all the rolling stock I own. |

IP Engineering Jane 0-4-0This gas fired loco was bought second hand on eBay. Although in mechanically good condition, its boiler paint had flaked off in many places. The loco was disassembled, and the boiler stripped then repainted with Hammerite barbeque paint which is heat resistant to 600 deg C. This matt paint quickly acquired a nice sheen from the hot oil spat out from the chimney. |

Cheddar Hercules 0-6-0The latest addition to the CMGR's roster is a new radio controlled Cheddar Hercules acquired at Christmas 2004. This is a very powerful loco with a tender which holds enough gas and water for up to 90 minutes of steaming. It also has a wonderfully loud whistle which really adds to the atmosphere. |

Large Thomas the Tank EngineThomas is the definate star of the line as far as children are concerned. The body is from a remote controlled toy. This is mounted on a Lima O gauge 12V chassis that used to live under an LMS 4F. Thomas is now powered by four AA batteries, and will pull a couple of light coaches. |
